Hello, I'm Stefanie

A fine artist in Southern New Jersey, painting the moments that matter most — so they can be lived with, and loved, for a lifetime.

my story

More than twenty-five years at the easel

Art has been my passion for over twenty-five years. From my studio here in Southern New Jersey, I work in acrylic, oil, and watercolor — sometimes all in the same week, depending on what a piece is asking for. Painting isn't something I do on the side; it's how I notice the world and hold onto it.

I paint the moments that matter most — family gatherings, the places we travel, and the quiet in-between that's easy to overlook. Some of my favorite work has come home with me from Italy: the candy-colored houses of Burano, an unhurried afternoon in Rome, fields of lavender stretching toward the hills. Other days the subject is right in front of me, in my own backyard.

Over the years my paintings have found their way into private collections across the United States. That still amazes me. To me, a finished piece isn't really finished until it lands somewhere it's wanted — a wall it brightens, a person it means something to.

I believe every piece should hold a story and find a home where it's truly appreciated. Whether it's an original for your living room or a commissioned portrait of someone you love, my hope is the same: that it makes you feel something every time you walk past it.

what I care about

A few things I believe in

Painted from life

Every painting begins with something real — a coastline at dawn, a spring in bloom, a face I love. The feeling comes first; the brushwork follows.

Made to last

Quality materials, archival inks, and proper varnishing mean the work holds its color and stays beautiful for generations, not just for a season.

A story in every piece

Art should mean something. I want each painting to carry a memory and find a home where it's genuinely appreciated and loved.

The mediums I reach for

  1. 01

    Acrylic

My everyday love — bold color, quick layers, and a finish that holds up beautifully on canvas.

  2. 02

    Oil

For richness and depth, when a piece wants slow blending and a luminous, lived-in glow.

  3. 03

    Watercolor

Light, loose, and full of air — perfect for travel studies, florals, and quiet moments.
