Every piece is packed and shipped by hand from my studio in Southern New Jersey. I want your artwork to arrive in perfect condition and ready to enjoy, so here's exactly what to expect.
Processing time
In-stock prints, gifts, and cards typically ship within 3–5 business days. Original paintings require extra packing care and usually ship within 5–7 business days. Commissioned work ships once it's finished and you've approved it — see the timeline on the Commissions page.
How your artwork is packaged
Packaging is matched to the piece so nothing shifts or creases in transit:
- Original paintings are wrapped in glassine, fitted with corner protectors, and boxed in sturdy, double-walled cartons with cushioning on every side.
- Prints ship flat in rigid mailers, or rolled in protective tubes for larger sizes, so they arrive ready to frame.
- Gifts and cards are nestled in protective wrap and packed to keep delicate, hand-painted details safe.
Shipping within the U.S.
I ship throughout the continental United States via trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Rates are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order. Every shipment includes tracking, and larger originals may be insured for their full value.
International shipping
International shipping is available by request. If you're outside the U.S., please contact me before ordering and I'll prepare a custom quote. Please note that any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
Tracking your order
As soon as your order ships, I'll email you a confirmation with tracking so you can follow it to your door. If your tracking hasn't updated or you have any questions along the way, just reach out and I'm happy to help.
Damage in transit
I pack carefully, but carriers occasionally have a rough day. If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the artwork and contact me within 7 days of delivery at stefanie@arttoappreciate.com. Keep all original packaging until we've sorted it out, and I'll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Returns
I want you to love your artwork. Here's how returns work:
- Original paintings may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they're in their original, undamaged condition and packaging. Return shipping and insurance are the buyer's responsibility, and a refund is issued once the piece arrives back safely.
- Prints, gifts, and cards are final sale, as they're produced and packed individually.
- Commissioned work is custom-made for you and is also final sale. You'll have the chance to review and approve your piece before it ships.
Local pickup
Based in Southern New Jersey? Local pickup is welcome by arrangement, and you're always invited to view a piece in person before it comes home with you. Just send me a note to set it up.
