in loving memory

The Chance Project

Art with a purpose — painting in memory of Chance, and giving back to the local animal shelters that care for the ones still waiting for a home.

his story

For Chance

Chance was my yellow Labrador and my constant studio companion — curled at my feet through long painting sessions, and, more often than not, the subject I kept coming back to. He had a way of making the studio feel complete.

Losing him left a quiet I wasn't ready for. The Chance Project is how I've chosen to answer it: by turning that love into something that helps. In his name, a part of my work now goes to the local animal shelters caring for the dogs and cats still hoping for a companion of their own.

Every portrait painted and every piece collected through the project helps provide food, blankets, and medical care for animals in need — a small, steady way of keeping Chance's gentle spirit at work in the world.
